Aligning Goals in TeamMaven
In TeamMaven, public goals can be linked to show alignment and how individual or team efforts contribute to broader company objectives. For example, a company-wide goal, such as “Achieve $10,000 in sales,” can be supported by a team-level goal, like “Close 7 new clients.”
To align two goals:
Ensure both goals are public. Only public goals can be linked.
Go to the child goal (the supporting goal) and click the “Align” button.
A drawer will open, allowing you to search for and select the parent goal you'd like to support.
Once selected, the parent goal will appear in the details section of the child goal, showing the alignment.
This feature helps teams stay connected to the bigger picture and ensures everyone is pulling in the same direction.
