It has been a busy half-year at TeamMaven. Over the last six months, we have focused on one goal: taking the friction out of performance management while giving you deeper data than ever before.
Whether you are an Admin setting up a complex review cycle or a Manager trying to help your team grow, we have shipped features to make your life easier. Here is a recap of the biggest updates from the second half of 2025.
1. AI-Assisted Review Summaries (Beta)
We know that writing the final summary for an employee review is the hardest part of the cycle. To help Review Leads synthesise weeks of feedback, we launched AI Assist (Beta).
With one click, managers can generate a draft summary based on the feedback collected during the cycle. They can adjust the tone (e.g., "Supportive" or "Growth Focus"), refine the text, and sign off with confidence.
Note: This is a Beta feature. Please message support if you would like to enable this for your organisation.

2. A New Visual Form Builder
We completely overhauled the form-building experience. No more guessing; our new Drag-and-Drop Form Builder makes creating custom review templates visual and intuitive.
Admins can drag questions into place, reorder sections, and use the Preview Mode to see exactly what employees will see before launching a round. It’s faster, safer, and much easier to use.

3. People Analytics (Beta)
We have started rolling out our dedicated People Reporting suite to help you visualise your workforce data.
Admins can now access dashboards covering key demographics, including attrition, tenure, and span of control. This moves TeamMaven beyond performance reviews and into strategic people insights.
Note: This is a controlled Beta. Please contact us to switch this feature flag on for your account.

4. Flexible HRIS Integrations
We introduced a versatile Integration Engine to keep your employee data in sync without the manual CSV work.
While we have highlighted seamless connections for BambooHR and SimplePay, our engine is designed to connect with almost any modern HRIS API. Whether you are using a major global provider or a local favourite, we can likely sync your data automatically.

5. Goal Sign-Off & Locking
To improve alignment between managers and teams, we added Goal Sign-Off.
Managers can now formally approve a goal, which "locks" the scope (description and metrics) to prevent changes mid-cycle. Progress updates can continue, but the goalposts stay put, ensuring fairness when it’s time for review.

6. Review Round Charts
Admins now have better visibility during active review cycles. We added Review Round Charts directly into the Review Round Manage screen.
You can now view distribution plots to spot rating trends, identify outliers, or check for inflation across different teams; all without leaving the management dashboard.

7. Single Sign-On (SSO)
We reduced login friction by adding native SSO support. Your team can now sign in using their existing Microsoft or Google credentials. This simplifies onboarding and improves security for your organisation.

8. Standardised Rating Scales
We moved rating scales into your Organisation Settings.
Instead of building scales inside every question, you can now define global rating logic (e.g., a standard 5-point scale) with precise rounding rules. This ensures consistent data across all your review rounds and makes year-on-year reporting far more accurate.
