TL;DR: Your responses are strictly confidential. We combine your answers with others to ensure no single response can be traced back to you. If a group is too small (fewer than 5 people), we do not report the results for that group at all.
The "Safety in Numbers" Rule
The core of our privacy protection is the Threshold of 5.
TeamMaven never displays survey results for groups smaller than 5 people. This mathematical floor ensures that your individual feedback is always "hidden in the crowd."
Scenario A: Your department has 20 people.
Result: Your manager sees the average score for the department (e.g., "Score: 4.2"). They cannot see who gave a 5 and who gave a 3.

Scenario B: Your specific team has only 3 people.
Result: The system activates the Anonymity Shield. Your manager sees no data for this specific team. Your scores are automatically rolled up into the larger department or company-wide average, where your anonymity is guaranteed.
What about my written comments?
Written feedback is powerful, but it can be identifying if you aren't careful. To protect you:
De-identified Metadata: We never show your name or email next to a comment.
Smart Redaction: If your group is small (under 5 people), we hide your Department and Location tags entirely, labelling you simply as an "Anonymous Respondent."
? Pro Tip: While we remove your digital footprint, we cannot rewrite your text. Avoid using specific phrases (e.g., "As the only designer on this project...") that might inadvertently identify you.
